Those driving by Greenville FCI recently may have noticed construction materials piled near the women’s prison camp.
Warden Tom Werlich said three projects are underway at the camp and men’s medium security facility. One project is replacing underground fuel tanks. The facility received $750,000 for that project. A $3 million projects involves placing all flat roofs at the institution. $165,000 will be used to replace a security system on the fence.
