The Greenville Lady Panthers’ recent 92-48 win over Lincoln Christian was a historic one.
The victory gave Head Coach Roy Mulholland the school record for coaching wins in women’s basketball.
In 21 seasons as leader of the Lady Panthers’ program, Mulholland has a record of 294-244. The old mark was held by Phyllis Holmes.
Mulholland is a 1986 graduate of Greenville College. He coached girls’ basketball at Greenville High School for 13 seasons, then became coach at his alma mater.
This year’s Lady Panthers have a 2-3 record. They play at home Wednesday, December 4, at 5:30 p.m. and go to Washington University Friday.
