The annual Kaskaskia College Foundation fundraising gala will be held at Greenville, Saturday, December 7.
Kaskaskia College President George Evans told WGEL the gala is the foundation’s premier event. Last year it was in Clinton County and this year it will be held at the American Farm Heritage Museum. Evans said Greenville and the KC Greenville Center are a big part of KC and its culture.
John Vincent will perform at the gala, which has a theme of “Bow Ties and Boots”.

The gala is from 5:30 to 11 p.m. at the Farm Heritage Museum.
President Evans said all proceeds are used to help students at the college. 100% of the money goes to KC’s unrestricted scholarship fund, which is for students who may not qualify for other grants, but need an extra leg up to succeed in college. Last year’s event raised $54,000.
