November Animal Control Report

In their most recent regular meeting, the Bond County Board approved the report submitted by Bond County Animal Control Officer Jim Hess for the month of November.

Hess reports 40 animal complaints – 18 from the rural county area, 22 from within the Greenville city limits.

11 dogs were impounded. 9 were released to owners, 1 was adopted from the shelter, and 1 went to the Bond County Humane Society.

8 cats were impounded. 6 were released to the Bond County Humane Society.

There was 1 wild animal complaint for a bat in Greenville and one animal bite was reported in Greenville.
