At the conclusion of the championship game at the FNB Community Bank Mulberry Grove Turkey Tournament Saturday night, awards were presented.
Mulberry Grove’s Wyatt Criner was named tournament most valuable player. Teammate Kaleb Scoggins was selected to the all-tournament team.
Criner scored 63 points in the four games, and led the Aces in rebounds and blocked shots.
Scoggins finished with 71 points in four games
The Mulberry Grove cheerleaders won first place in the team competition. Lyndsey Beckham is their cheer coach.
The cheerleaders are seniors Makayla Dothager and Trista Koertge, juniors Kathryn Criner, Emma Helmkamp, Naomi Kennedy, and Shelby Quick; sophomores Abby Brown, Dakota Kruep, Megan Miller, Allie Stewart and Mercedes Wehrle; and freshmen Madalyn Carter and Jaclyn Robertson.
