K.C. Lee Michael Rich, age 18 of rural Carlyle, Illinois, passed away 7:20 a.m. Sunday, April 12, 2020 in a motor vehicle accident. He was received into Heaven early Easter morning by Jesus and his great-grandparents.
A Memorial drive to honor K.C. will be held 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18th. The drive will start at the Swing Bridge and will conclude at the lake. Online condolences may be made to the family, as well as sharing a picture or making a memorial donation. K.C., the son of Brian Lee and Tricia Marie (Kuhl) Rich, was born July 9, 2001 in Greenville, Illinois. He loved his family and friends, always there to help when needed. K.C.’s favorite time of year was derby and hunting season. He had a smile that would light up a room and will be missed by all. K.C. graduated Carlyle High School with the class of 2019. His hard work allowed K.C. to graduate early, December 2018. He was enrolled and talking college classes at Kaskaska College.
Surviving are his parents, siblings Hunter Chase Rich, age 13 and Carissa Jane Marie Rich, age 11, maternal grandparents Mike Kuhl and Patsy Barackman, paternal grandparents Lee and Marilyn Rich.
Also surviving include his uncles: Curt Goodin, Jason Rich and Toni, Mike Kraut and Scott Kraut and Dana and very special aunt Crazy. Loving cousins include: Samantha Portell and Zack, Alex Goodin and Haele, Andrew, Kirsten, Austin, Ashley and Nicholas. There are so many numerous family members to include that he loved so much. K.C. also leaves behind his very special friend Kayla Molohon.
