Tuesday the first day of free COVID-19 testing in Greenville.
It continues Wednesday at the Bond County Fairgrounds from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You can get in line through the north entrance of the fairgrounds. A tent is set up along the midway and personnel will do a nose swab while you are in your vehicle.
The first day of testing was Tuesday and 299 people visited the site. Site Manager Lawrence Keel said it was the most he has had in one day at any of his mobile testing sites.
The COVID-19 test clinic in Greenville is open to anyone in the area, not just Bond County residents.
It is sponsored by the Illinois Department of Health and staffed by certified medical people from HR Support from the State of Illinois.
Keel urges area residents to take advantage of the free tests and said results will be received in 48 hours to seven days and persons who are tested will be notified by phone.
