Chairman Urges COVID Precautions For County Employees

During Tuesday morning’s Bond County Board meeting, Chairman Wes Pourchot urged employees at the courthouse and courthouse annex offices to remain mindful of COVID-19 precautions.

He said he believes the virus is more prominent than many think and said everyone needs to be careful in their offices. Pourchot said Collinsville had to close their Municipal Building recently, which the county obviously wants to avoid. He urged employees to wear masks and encourage people who come into the office to do so as well.
