Local Residents Receive Mysterious Seeds

For the last week or so one of the biggest national news stories has been packets of seeds showing up from overseas in American mailboxes. It is not known exactly where the seeds come from, or what they even are.

Bond & Fayette County Farm Bureau Manager Katie Cayo says local folks have received some of those mysterious seeds. She told us the seeds could be harmful to agriculture, so anyone who receives seeds should not open them and should definitely not plant them. You are advised to seal them in some type of an airtight container and throw them away.
