The Ag In the Classroom 4-H Livestock Auction is unusually held at the Bond County Fair, but as with almost all things in the era of COVID-19, adjustments had to be made.

The auction was held online this year, over five days, ending Monday, August 3rd.

Auction organizer Emily Hartmann told WGEL the auction grossed $18,990 on 47 lots.

Those proceeds help 4-H members offset expenses associated with their livestock project.

In order to maintain social distancing, 4-H members retained their animals and product baskets this year.
