Monday was the deadline for candidates to file petitions for the April 6 election.
In the Kingsbury Park District, five people have filed to run for the park board.
There are two, two-year unexpired terms that will be on the ballot, plus two, four-year terms.
Running for the four-year terms are Lynn Ulmer and David Henrichsmeyer.
The candidates for two-year terms are William (B.J.) Schneck III, E. Louanne Theiss and Chad Nelson.
Theiss is an incumbent. Scott Crothers did not file a petition for re-election.
The park board is designed to have five members, but has only had three in the past few months, since two commissioners resigned earlier this year. Those two were elected in 2019, which is why the two-year unexpired terms will be on the ballot.
The current board has not appointed anyone to fill the two vacancies.
