Greenville Garden Club Ready To Kick Off Spring

The Greenville Garden Club has a rich history and is ready to begin activities for 2021.

Club President Marie Siefken told WGEL the first meeting would be Tuesday, April 13, at 6 PM in the Patriot’s Park pavilion. Participants need a mask and are encouraged to bring a brown bag meal. They will review activities planned for the year and they expect to walk around the lake to look at spring flowers.

The Greenville Garden Club has one big fund raiser, a plant sale, which is coming up on April 24, according to Siefken. The rain date will be May 15. Money from the sale is used for various projects in Greenville, such as scholarships, park benches at Patriot’s Park, planters around the city, and more.
