City Of Greenville Declares Snow Emergency

In accordance with City of Greenville code § 72.25, Mayor George Barber has declared a Snow
Emergency. With the forecast of significant snowfall, it will be necessary that the parking of motor
vehicles on snow emergency routes be prohibited upon accumulation of 2” of snow.

No person shall park any vehicle or permit any vehicle to remain parked on a snow emergency route.
Snow routes must remain open for snow removal. You can see the snow routes on the city’s official memo below.

This snow emergency will be in effect upon 2” accumulation of snow from 9:00 AM Wednesday,
February 2 through 12:00 NOON on Friday, February 4, 2022.
