County Office Holders Seeking Re-Election

Two county-wide office holders in Bond County filed petitions late last week to seek re-election.

Randi Workman, a Republican, is running for circuit clerk. Georgia Shank filed a petition as a Republican candidate for supervisor of assessments.

Workman was appointed circuit clerk by the Bond County Board in September of 2021. She was elected to a two-year unexpired term in 2022.

Shank has been Bond County supervisor of assessments since November of 2014 when she was appointed. She was elected to a four-year term in 2016 and won another four-year term in 2020.
Both will be among the candidates on the March 19 primary ballot.

Monday, December 4 is the final day for candidates to file petitions for the primary election.
