Chamber Seeks Turley Award Nominations

The Greenville Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2024 Annual Gerald Turley Award.

Nomination letters should include a detailed biography of why the individual qualifies for the award, with an emphasis on demonstrating personal sacrifice, involvement, innovation, and community leadership to promote the success of Greenville.

Letters can be submitted to the Chamber of Commerce at Post Office Box 283, Greenville, Illinois 62246 or sent via email to greenvilleilchamber@gmail.com.

The deadline for submissions is March 15. Those who have been nominated, but not selected in the past, may be nominated again.

The recipient of the award will be selected by a special committee of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.

The award was created in 1994 to honor Gerald Turley, former mayor of Greenville who actively supported the City throughout his lifetime.

This year’s winner will be honored at a program, on a date chosen by the recipient.
