More On Train-SUV Crash In Bond County

Additional information has been obtained by WGEL pertaining to a train-SUV crash that occurred Saturday, February 17.

A Bond County deputy identified the driver of the Hummer vehicle as Theresa Noble, age 51, of St. Louis, Missouri. Passengers included Tina Pulley, age 54 of Granite City, and Danielle Pruett, 34, of Chesterfield, Missouri.

According to the deputy, all three women were seriously injured and air lifted from the scene to St. Louis hospitals. An eight-year-old boy was also in the vehicle, but reportedly had minor injuries.

The crash occurred on Ski Club Road, at a railroad crossing just north of East Lake Drive.

The deputy reported the northbound SUV was struck in its front driver’s side corner while the SUV was on the tracks. The train was eastbound.

There are no lights or crossing gates at the railroad crossing. The deputy told WGEL, the three women and boy were travelling to a residence near Governor Bond Lake when the accident occurred about 1:40 p.m.
