The Lincoln Land Leathernecks Detachment 1174 of the Marine Corps League has recognized the Greenville Simple Room Youth Development Center for its outstanding community work. On Saturday, March 15th, the group presented Executive Director Laura Stine with a $500 donation and a Certificate of Appreciation.
The Leathernecks Detachment, based in Greenville, is made up of Marines and Associates from Bond, Clinton, Fayette, Madison, and St. Clair counties. This marks their first donation of 2025, with plans to support more organizations throughout the year.
