The Bond County CEO program for the 2026-27 school year is underway.
There are 14 students from Mulberry Grove High School and Bond County Unit 2 High School in the program. Back for his third year as facilitator is Jes Adam.
Beginning this year, the program has been opened to junior, in addition to senior students. Adam said there are eight seniors and six juniors.
Students can only participate in the program once.
Those from Mulberry Grove High School are Addylyn Buatte, Allison Hemker, Lillabelle Kelley, and Makenzie Redou (re-dow).
Students from Unit 2 High School include Addison Walker, Austin Swalley, Braydon Edwards, Cannon Hamel, Carly Ochoa, Gunner Gaffner, Kilian Horihan, Kody Provost, Mahee Patel, and Wyatt Orender.
The CEO class meets Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Students visit local businesses, host guest speakers or work on class projects.
CEO stands for Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities.
