Jo has been city manager for Greenville since February of 2022.
She said the decision to retire was not made lightly, but she believes it is the right time to begin a new chapter in her life. Hollenkamp advised she is committed to making the transition for a new city manager as smooth as possible.
Mayor George Barber told WGEL the council has begun discussing the vacancy and will eventually report the process that will be used to find a new city manager.
