Imogene Wells, age 80, of Donnellson, passed away Saturday, November 1. Memorial services for 80 year-old Imogene Wells will be Saturday, November 8, at 11:00 a.m., at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama. Burial will be in Elm Point Cemetery in rural Donnellson. Friends may call Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
She was born on March 31, 1934 at St. Elmo the daughter of Harvey W. and Goldie E. (Landers) Knapp. She was preceded in death by her parents; Brothers, Homer Knapp, Fred Knapp and Darrell Knapp; Sisters, Rosie Doty and Ruby Reeves; An infant brother and sister; Her former husband, Jesse “Zeke” Wells Jr.
Imogene retired from De Moulin Brothers & Company in Greenville as a presser after more than 25 years of service. She was a member of Panama VFW Post 6628 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to paint yard ornaments, gardening and sewing.
Survivors include: Daughters, Sue Wells and Cathy (husband, Darrell) Rau both of Panama, IL and Tina Wells of Van Burensburg, IL; Son, Robert Wells of Vandalia, IL; 6 Grandchildren, Michael (Haley) Wells, Cory Wells, Benjamin Wells, Jacob Wells, Randi Wells and Joe Zobrist; 7 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Dale Knapp Sr. of Assumptin, IL; Many Nieces and Nephews.
