Anna K. Reising, age 94, of Hamel, passed away Saturday, December 6, at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton. Funeral services for 94 year-old Anna K. Reising will be Friday, December 12, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hamel. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. The Dauderman Mortuary in Hamel is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on Tuesday, November 23, 1920, in Edwardsville, IL, the daughter of Fred and Anna (nee Strohmeier) Rode.
She was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Hamel, IL; St. Paul Ladies Aid; Home Extension (Hamel Unit).
Anna was born at Pin Oak Township and grew up in Hamel Township. She had lived in Hamel, Staunton, Worden and again in Hamel. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan and enjoyed cooking, quilting and reading the newspaper.
