Ruby L. Goodin, 83, of Mulberry Grove, passed away Wednesday, December 10. Funeral services for 83 year old Ruby L. Goodin will be held Friday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia. Burial will be in Ritter Cemetery in Vandalia. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Ritter Cemetery, the United Methodist Church of Mulberry Grove, or Bond County Hospice.
She was born July 26, 1931, in Fayette County, the daughter of Raymond & Mabel (Ritter) Mears. Married Charles E. Goodin on June 26, 1948, in Mulberry Grove, IL. He passed away January 25, 2002. She was a Homemaker & Member of United Methodist Church, Mulberry Grove, IL.
She is survived by: Sons – Chuck Goodin & Sue, Hillsboro, IL & Chris Goodin & Chris, Vandalia, IL; Daughters – Vicky Guthrie & Max, Mulberry Grove, IL; Jodi Elder & Jeff, Vandalia, IL; Brothers – Donald Wasser & Mary, Brownstown, IL & Fred Wasser, St. Louis, MO; Sister – Lucille Sidwell, Brownstown, IL; 16 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren & Several Nephews & Nieces.
