Bonnie Jean Kaimann

Bonnie Jean Kaimann, age 66, of Greenville, formerly of East Alton-Wood River, passed away Saturday, January 3, at Highland Healthcare. Graveside funeral services for 66 year-old Bonnie Jean Kaimann will be held Saturday, January 10 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. at Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation.

Bonnie jean Reed, the daughter of Lloyd Reed and Marcella Rose Purcell Reed, was born on June 24, 1948 in Alton, Illinois. She grew up in East Alton and Wood River graduating from Wood River High School in 1967. She married and raised her family in Wood River. Bonnie worked at Basler Electric for 36 years in Highland retiring on February 8, 2012. She has made her home in Greenville since 1985.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter Leslie (Jeff) Bone of rural Greenville, her son Stephen Karpan of Greenville, three grandchildren: Kaleb Bone, Dylan Bone, and Noah Karpan, and five siblings: Lloyd (Rena) Reed, David Reed, Kevin (Rosemary) Reed, Jeff (Alicia) Reed, and Jennifer (David) Cooper.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her father Louis Reed, mother Marcella Smith, and her son Brian K. Karpan on April 1, 2002.

Bonnie was a member of the Red Hat Society, and the Greenville Free Methodist Church.
