Barbara Greenwood, age 63, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, February 18, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Funeral services for 63 year-old Barbara Greenwood will be Monday, February 23, at the First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery also in Hillsboro. Friends may call Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Montgomery County Cancer Association or Montgomery County PAWS Care. The Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Barbara was born on November 27, 1951 at Hillsboro IL, the daughter of the late Robert E and Mary G (Frkovich) Bullard. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School in 1969 and had worked as a sales manager for V.R.I. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hillsboro, was a volunteer at Montgomery County PAWS Care and loved her grandchildren, gardening and pets.
Her marriage to Russell Greenwood was on May 29,1993 and he survives in Hillsboro IL. Also surviving are children, Noah (wife Melissa) Meade, Grayslake, IL; Morgan Meade (companion, Blake Johnson), Nokomis, IL; Mike (wife Vicki) Greenwood, Coffeen, IL; Eldon (wife Jeanne) Greenwood, Coffeen, IL; Randy (wife Tammy) Greenwood, Hillsboro IL; two grandchildren, Caroline and Owen Meade; four step-grandchildren, Brandon, Cody, Dustin and Devin; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann (husband, Michael) Smith, Bloomington IL; nephew, Joshua Benny, and niece, Jill (husband Kris) Wells.
