Clifford R. Dicus

Clifford R. Dicus, age 86, of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, April 15 at his home. Graveside services for 86 year old Clifford R. Dicus will be Saturday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery in Savannah, TN. Friends may call Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society Highland Relay for Life.

He was born on Monday, November 05, 1928, in Lawrenceburg, TN, the son of Marvin R. and Daisy M. (nee Todd) Dicus.

On Friday, February 20, 1970, he married Rosemary C. Dicus (nee Leroy) who survives in Highland.

He was a member of Highland Community Church.

Mr. Dicus was born in Lawrenceburg, TN and graduated from Frank Hughes High School in 1951. After graduation, he ran a dairy farm and then moved to Highland the same year. He worked for Williams Chevrolet for many years, retiring in early 1970’s from Gentemen Chevrolet. He then worked at his home-based auto repair body shop. He loved working on vehicles. He worked all the time. He retired from working in 2012. He loved being outdoors, especially gardening. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. He was part of the daily gatherings at Hardee’s in Highland.
