Linda Lampe, age 50, of Greenville, wife of Jerome “Sonny” Lampe, passed away Tuesday, April 21, in Greenville Regional Hospital. Funeral services for 50 year-old Linda Lampe are Friday, April 24, at 11:00 a.m., in the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Lemuel Rhodes Foundation.
Linda Gunda Morgan, the daughter of Donald Ray Morgan and Monika Vollmer Morgan, was born on January 21, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri. She grew up there and attended Fanning Elementary School, Roosevelt High School and graduated from the Visual and Performing Arts High School in 1983. Linda was a home maker and raised her family in St. Louis and later moved to Greenville in 2007.
Linda and Jerome E “Sonny” Lampe Jr. were united in marriage on February 14, 2006, in the Bayless Baptist Church in St. Louis, and he survives as do their children: Brittany G. Reeg, Morgan N. Reeg, and Sarah M. Lampe all of Greenville. Linda is also survived by her mother Monika Morgan of St. Louis, MO, her two grandchildren: Colton Lewis and Alissa Mousette, two step children: Brittany (Ronald) Mousette, of Highland, Tori (Jason) Snell of Fairview Heights, IL., and 3 siblings: Donna (Ray) Schulte, Donald (Jackie) Morgan, and Bill (Paula) Morgan, all of St. Louis, MO.
Linda is preceded in death by her father Donald Ray Morgan.
Linda was a member of the Bayless Baptist Church in St. Louis and attended the Greenville First Christian Church.
