Elmira “Red” Puls, age 82, of rural Greenville, passed away Thursday, May 21 at her home. Family memorial services for 82 year old Elmira “Red” Puls will be Friday, May 29 at 11:00 a.m. at the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
Elmira, the daughter of Marvel Marton Adcock and Geneva Leona (Reddick) Adcock, was born April 3, 1933 in Greenville. She was raised in Greenville, attended Central School and graduated from Greenville High School. Elmira worked at Eakin Poultry carding eggs and later DeMoulin Brothers. She moved to Merton, Wisconsin in 1962 working at Heartland Plastics, Briggs and Stratton, and Balax Inc. for 25 years, returning to Greenville in 1995.
Elmira is survived by her children: John R. Puls of Fox Lake, Wisconsin, Nancy R. Bush of St. Elmo, Illinois, Rhonda J. Kuzba of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, Sandra K. Lake of Salem, Illinois and Debra A. (Virgil) Earnest of Greenville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Elmira is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Marvel D. Adcock, Robert E. Adcock, William Adcock, and sister Joyce Myers.
