Dolores A. Schulte

Dolores A. Schulte, age 89, of Germantown, passed away Sunday, June 28 at Countryside Manor in Aviston. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for 89 year old Dolores A. Schulte will be Wednesday, July 1 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 to 9:45 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois.

She was born October 9, 1925 in Germantown to Leo and Cecilia (Thoele) Frerker Sr.: they preceded her in death.

She married Lawrence Schulte October 10, 1950 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown and he preceded her in death March 9, 2012.

Also preceded in death by a daughter Mary Eckmann, father-in-law and mother-in-law George & Christine (Beckmann) Schulte, Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Leo & Clara Schulte, Alvina & Aloysius Albers, Joe Schulte, Ray Michels, Ray Schwaegel, Ralph Tonnies, Hugo Schulte.

Surviving are her children Pat (Joe) Schomber, Jim (Yvonne) Schulte all of Belleville.

3 grandchildren Dana (Jason) Miller, Meredith (Jeremy) Osgood, Cameron Schulte.

3 great grandchildren Noah & Wyatt Miller, Warren Osgood.

Her sister and brothers Dorothy Frerker of Germantown, Leo (Bernice) Frerker of Breese, Frank (Ruby) Frerker of Germantown.

Her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Loretta Kudrna of Mesa, AZ, Clara (Bob) Kohrmann of Albers, Helen Tonnies of Breese, Dorothy (Norman) Wilke of Belleville, Alice (Leo) Speichinger of Fairview Heights, Arlene Schulte of Belleville.

Dolores was a cook at the Starlite Restaurant in Germantown; she had a passion for cooking, baking pies and enjoyed quilting.

Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Altar Sodality in Germantown.
