Lorraine B. Frey, age 86 of Aviston, IL, died Wednesday, June 03, 2015, at Carlyle Health Care Center in Carlyle, IL.
She was born September 15, 1928, in Pierron – Saline Twonship, IL, the daughter of Herman F. and Margaret E. (nee Baumgartner) Frey.
On May 20, 1947, she married James L. Frey who passed away on June 10, 2006.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Mrs. Frey was born in Saline Township, five miles East of Highland. She grew up on the family farm. After her marriage, she moved to Highland and raised five children. She then moved to Bethalto and worked at Civic Memorial High School as a cook in Bethalto for 15 years. In 1988, she retired and moved to Aviston. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting afghans, and raising flowers. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.Lorraine B. and James L. Frey were happily married for 59 years. They are now reunited in yet another chapter of their lives. Their souls forever entwined in their love for each other, guided by God.

Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL.
