Donald J. Warnecke, age 57, of Beckemeyer, passed away Wednesday, August 5 at his home. There will be no services for 57 year old Donald J. Warnecke. Zieren Funeral Home in Carlyle is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Warnecke was born on May 1, 1958, in Breese, Illinois, a son of John B. and Mabel M. (Burger) Warnecke.
Donald is survived by his sons, Eric Lockart and fiancée Brooke, and Kyle Lockart, all of Beckemeyer; a nephew – A.J. Warnecke and friend Larissa Wuebbels; nieces – Christy Warnecke, Tricia Litteken and husband Chad, and Becky Rakers and husband Nick.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; a brother – Allen Warnecke; and a sister-in-law – Joy Warnecke.
Mr. Warnecke was a former employee of Granite City Steel. He loved to spend time outdoors hunting and fishing.
