Evelyne B. Waldron

Evelyne B. Waldron, age 98 of Highland, IL, died Friday, August 28, 2015, at Faith Care Center in Highland, IL.

She was born August 08, 1917, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Joseph H. and Florence V. Alderman.

On February 10, 1940, she married William J. Waldron who passed away on November 06, 2010.

She was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church. She was also a former member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church-East St. Louis – Former member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church-Shiloh, IL.

Evelyne was born in St. Louis and grew up in the Rosemont area of E. St. Louis. She graduated E. St. Louis High School in 1935 and attended Summers Business College in E. St. Louis in 1936. She had worked at Virginia Carolina Chemical Co, Goodrich Rubber in St. Louis; Famous Barr; and at age 50 worked at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in O’Fallon for 12 years in physical therapy. She moved to Highland Home in 2012. She enjoyed doing house work and she had many “Sayings” to add humor to a conversation.

Son In-law – Dr. Aly Razek, Longboat Key, FL
Grandchildren – Fifteen .
Great Grandchildren – Sixteen .

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, Illinois.

Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 02, 2015, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 02, 2015, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Father Pat G. Jakel officiating.

Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Highland, IL.
