Kevin R. Stevenson, age 54, of Hamel, passed away Tuesday, September 22 in Worden, IL. Funeral services for 54 year old Kevin R. Stevenson will be Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden. Burial will be Quercus Grove Cemetery in Edwardsville. Friends may call Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dauderman Mortuary in Hamel and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to service time at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
He was born on Tuesday, January 3, 1961, in Alton, IL, the son of John R. and E. Lucille (nee Pritchard) Stevenson.
On Saturday, October 26, 1985, he married Lisa M. Stevenson nee Finke who survives.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Worden, IL; Trinity Lutheran Church President of Congregation; President and Committee Member of Trinity Lutheran and St. Paul Lutheran School Board; Metro East High School Board Member; Worden Fire Department; Hamel Fire Department; Certified Teacher for Conceal and Carry in Illinois.
Kevin was born at Alton, IL; grew up in Bethalto and Worden, IL. He graduated from Worden High School in 1979. He received his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from SIUE. He worked as a Project Leader Programming Analyst for Edward Jones in Maryland Heights, MO. He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals and St. Louis Football Rams. He enjoyed shooting and making holsters.
