Donald R. “Butch” Litton, age 71, of New Douglas, passed away Thursday, October 1 at his home. Funeral services for 71 year old Donald R. “Butch” Litton will be Monday, October 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the church. Memorials are suggested to Adopt-A-Pet Animal Rescue. Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra is in charge of arrangements.
He was born on Monday, September 11, 1944, in Bonne Terre, MO, the son of William E. and Elsie I. (nee Montgomery) Litton.
On Saturday, February 23, 1963, he married Bonadell A. “Bonnie” Litton nee Leuscher who survives.
Donald was born in Bonne Terre, MO. Moved to Worden, Illinois, in 1951. He worked at Kleuter Brothers Concrete Products in Edwardsville for 37 years as a Finisher and Forklift Driver. He and his wife moved to their farm south of New Douglas in 2013. He enjoyed listening to music, antique tractors, mowing grass and his many pets.
