Chrystal Lee Dicus, age 62 of Highland, IL, died Monday, November 30, 2015, at her residence.
She was born on Saturday, November 21, 1953, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Jerome J. Zobrist and Carol S. Zobrist Miller (nee Wirz).
On Friday, July 14, 1972, she married Ronald Ray Dicus, who survives.
Chrystal was born and raised in Highland, IL. She was a 1971 graduate of Highland High School where she was a cheerleader and a homecoming court attendant. As a youth, she worked for Kayser Drug Store and was a runner up in the Ms. Madison County Fair Queen contest. Although she was primarily a homemaker, she had worked for Holzinger Insurance and other numerous local jobs. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, being outdoors, fishing, and watching St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. She also loved watching her grandchildren and their sporting events.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL and from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL., with Rev. Christopher W. Hill, Senior Pastor, officiating.
Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
