Darrel R. Siebuhr, age 74 of rural Greenville passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Hillsboro Rehab and Health Care Center after battling cancer and COPD. A memorial service celebrating his life is set for Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11 AM at Mt. Nebo Primitive Baptist Church.
Darrel was born on February 5, 1941 in Greenville the son of Robert H. and Rose M. (Collman) Siebuhr. He was a farmer and was also employed for 18 years with L.A. Trucking, Inc., Alhambra, IL.
Darrrel loved to extend a helping hand to people who needed assistance. Also, he lived his life fulfilling his responsibility in caring for nature that was created for mankind. He loved to go fishing and hunting or just sitting in the woods enjoying nature. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Darrel is survived by his mother Rose Siebuhr of Greenville, his son Wayne Siebuhr and his wife Jamie along with their daughter Emily Luffman of Tennessee, his sisters Nancy Siebuhr of Greenville, Nelda Greer and her husband Sidney of Texas, and Mary Lee Kover of Greenville.
