Denny Thomas Castleman age 79 of Woburn, passed away at 3:41 p.m. Sunday at Capetown LaCroix Assisted Living in Cape Gireadeau, MO. where he had been near his children for the past few months.

Denny Thomas Castleman, age 79 of Woburn, passed away at 3:41 p.m. Sunday February 7, 2016 at Capetown LaCroix Assisted Living in Cape Gireadeau, MO. where he had been near his children for the past few months.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Mulberry Grove Church of Christ with Randy Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow in Mulberry Grove Cemetery with full military honors provided by the American Legion Post #1180 of Mulberry Grove. The family will receive friends at the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville from 6 until 8 PM Friday. For those who desire, memorials may be made to the Mulberry Grove Church of Christ.

Denny is survived by his four children; Denny “Skip” Castleman Jr., Sheena A. Castleman, Toni (Jay) Chezem, Dr. Lisa D. Castleman, his mother Dorothy Bauer of Woburn, sister Darlene (Dennis) Vincent, and 7 grandchildren; Stephen Chezem, Alyssa Chezem, Andrew Stuart, Chelby Chezem, J.D. Chezem IV, Mitchell A. Hanson, and Maxwell Hanson.
Also surviving Denny are three very special sister-in-laws and one brother-in-law; Virginia and Bob File, Vicki Watkins, Marsha Poehling, and two special friends; George Heuter and Delores Dothager.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret, his father, Thomas and his brother, Wesley Castleman.

Visitation for Denny Thomas Castleman Sr. will be held at the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home, from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 12, and at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 13, at First Church of Christ, 411 North Maple Street, Mulberry Grove, IL. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. following visitation at the church with the Rev. Randy Whitehead officiating. The graveside service with Military Honors will follow at Mulberry Grove Cemetery, Mulberry by American Legion Post 1180 of Mulberry Grove, IL.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the First Church of Christ, 411 North Maple Street, Mulberry Grove, IL 62262.
