Nancy E. Kirkman, age 67 of Greenville, passed away at 3:20 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Helia Health Care in Greenville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a,m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Don Propeck officiating. Interment will follow in McInturf Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Donnell-Wiegand. For those who desire memorials in Nancy’s memory may be made to the Bond County Home Health or to Bond County Hospice.
Nancy Ellen Kircher, the daughter of Lester Adolph Kircher and Ruby Marie Baldwin Kircher, was born on July 4, 1948 in Highland. Nancy grew up in Pierron and attended school in Pocahontas, and graduated from Greenville High School in 1966.
Nancy and John M. Kirkman were united in marriage on June 11, 1966 in the Jamestown Evangelical Church and have enjoyed over 49 years together. John survives as do their two children: Sara A. (Shane) Vosse of Belleville, Timothy M. Kirkman of Troy, MO, two grandsons: Ryan and Evan Vosse, sister Rosemary (Pat) York of Greenville and brother William (Connie) Kircher of Pocahontas.
Nancy and John raised their children and Nancy raised dogs including Cocker Spaniels, Shelties, and Rottweilers, and she loved horses. Nancy is a member of the Jamestown Evangelical Church of Christ.
