Mr. Carl M. Stelzriede of Greenville, IL, departed this life at his residence on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 1:45 P.M. He had attained the age of 73 years, 4 months and 16 days.
Carl was born on April 23, 1950 in Centralia, IL the son of Oscar and Lois (Krietemeyer) Stelzriede.
Carl worked as an engineer for the City of Greenville for many years. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Goshen Trail Black Powder Club. He loved his motorcycle and enjoyed collecting firearms and cycling.
Left to mourn his passing is his nieces, nephews, other relation and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Arthur Stelzreide.
Per the wishes of Carl and his family, cremation will be performed. There will be no public services.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum in Maggie Valley, NC and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
