Today’s Salute to Service is Brett Kunkel of the Shoal Creek Fire Protection District.
Brett was recently recognized for his 50 years of service to his community. 50 years ago Brett started as a Junior Firefighter and during his half century of volunteering he has worn many different helmets, from Chief to District President and was recognized at their annual banquet for his lifetime of service and his continuing commitment to his community.
