The Greenville High School Athletic Department will honor Comets Basketball Hall of Famer Tony Atchison following tonight’s JV game.
Greenville High School Athletic Director Joe Alstat told WGEL Atchison scored over 1,500 points as a member of the Comets. Atchison graduated in 1998 and played college basketball at Central Florida and Kansas State. Following college, Atchison played professionally in Ireland for a year.
Alstat expects the presentation to begin around 7:00 or 7:15, upon the conclusion of the JV game. He said he hopes to see a great crowd to show support for Atchison.
