Greenville High School senior and member of the GHS 1,000 Point Club Maria Reinhard signed a letter of intent on Wednesday afternoon, committing to play basketball for Trinity Christian College in Chicago. Maria is the daughter of Brian and Carla Reinhard of Greenville.
Reinhard averaged over 12 points per game in each of her sophomore, junior, and senior years. She led the Lady Comets in assists and steals in both her junior and senior years. In her senior year, she also was first on her team in field goal and three-point percentage in which she shot 43 percent. She finished her career with a total of 1,082 points and ranks third in all-time scoring at GHS.
