2 2-0 Teams Faceoff Tonight at Don Stout Field

One week after scoring a school record 77 points the Greenville Comets football team will face their biggest challenge of the young season. The 2-0 Carlinville Cavaliers will come to Don Stout field tonight, and Carlinville has been scoring a lot of points this season too. The Cavaliers beat Roxana 64-40 and Vandalia 57-22 so far this year, while the Comets have beat Litchfield 56-28 and Piasa 77-36. Comets quarterback Tyler Hutchinson has thrown 15 touchdown passes in the first two games playing only about 5 full quarters of football.

Hutchinson was also named the Chicago Bears High School Player of the Week after the Piasa game where he tied a State Record that was set in 1949 with 9 touchdown passes.
