Comets Victorious In Stormed Delayed Game Saturday

Following a rain out Friday night, the Comets continued their game against the Southwestern Piasa Birds Saturday afternoon. It turned out to be the Comets second big win of the season; they defeated the Birds 77-34.

The Comets set a new single game record for points scored at 77. And Tyler Hutchinson threw for 9 Touchdown passes, tying a single game state record. The Comets will next host the Carlinville Cavaliers who are also 2-0. You can hear that game live this Friday on WGEL Radio, kick off is at 7PM.
