LADY COMETS
Varsity Volleyball beat Gillespie in 3 games. JV also won.
Tennis defeated Centralia 6-3 to improve to 10-2. Singles winners include Thomas, Patel, Eller and H Gaffner. Doubles winners were A.Gaffner/Eller and Thomas/Patel. JV doubles winners were Mesnard/Doll, Beans/Gilmore and H.Gaffner/Siefken.
COMETS
Soccer improved their conference record to 7-0 with a 2-0 victory over Carlinville. Both goals were scored by Will Schaufelberger with an assist from Zach Eckols. Matt James earned the shutout in goal with 2 saves.
GREENVILLE JUNIOR HIGH LADY JAYS
The Greenville Junior High Lady Jays basketball team beat Brownstown/St. Elmo Thursday, 28-6, in the Vandalia tournament. The Lady Jays play Pocahontas Friday at 6:45 for third place.
