Tyler Hutchinson Recognized By Chicago Bears

The good news from the Greenville Comets big win over Piasa Southwestern last weekend just keeps coming.

The Comets set a school record for their score of 77 points over the Piasa Birds. And senior quarterback Tyler Hutchinson tied a state record that has stood since 1949 for the most touchdown passes in a game with nine.

Hutchinson was also selected for another honor this week.

“This past week Tyler was selected by the Chicago Bears as their Week Two All-Star Player of the Week,” Joe Alstat, GHS Athletic Director, told WGEL. “There were two players from the state selected by the Bears. So his picture will be on the scoreboard this weekend at Soldier Field. It’s quite an accomplishment, so congratulations to Tyler.”
