Comets Football Improves to 8-0, Hutch Passes 10,000 Career Passing Yards

The Comets football team improved to 8-0 Friday night with a 56-28 win over the Gillespie Miners. One week after setting the IHSA career passing record for the state of Illinois, Comet quarterback Tyler Hutchinson passed 10,000 career passing yards Friday night. Tyler threw for five TDs and rushed for one more.

Austin Lawrence had two of the Comets 4 team interceptions on defense.
