GC Lady Panthers Recognized By SLIAC

The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced their awards for the 2014 women’s soccer season. Greenville College received the SLIAC Team Sportsmanship Award for the first time. The award recognizes the team whose players, coaches, and fans best exhibit the principles of good sportsmanship. The SLICA also recognizes one individual from each team, selected by her coach and teammates, who throughout the season best displays the ideals of sportsmanship. Lexi Baysinger was the Greenville College player who received the recognition.

Several GC soccer players were also named to SLIAC All-Conference Teams. Barbara Nigro and Tymber Gabbert were named to the Second Team. Kieley Leach, Kency Lopez, and Hope Brakenhoff were named to the Third Team.
