Comets Drop Close Baseball Game To Highland Thursday

The Greenville Comets baseball team came close to handing Highland its second loss of the season Thursday afternoon, but came up short by the score of 8 to 6.

The Comets held a 5-2 lead through four innings, but the Bulldogs came up with six runs in the fifth to regain the lead for good.
Dillon Halleman pitched the first four and two-thirds innings for GHS. He also drove in the Comets first three runs. Craig Faulkner and Brennan Woker also saw pitching action.

Offensively, Jacob Hall banged out three hits, Kaeden Mollett and Tyler Hutchinson had two apiece, and Brady Fletcher, Ryan Hutchinson, Faulkner, Halleman and Ty Sexton had one each.
