Last week, the Jr. Comets football program was the recipient of a $1,000 gift from the Chicago Bears’ organization, as a result of Comets’ quarterback Tyler Huchinson being named all-star player of the week during the 2014 football season.

Dave Dunn, representing the Jr. Comets, said it was a welcomed donation to the program, to assist the young players who have the goal of one day being high school Comet football players:

The Jr. Comets program practices and plays home games on high school facilities.
