Two Comets Cheerleaders Receive College Scholarships

Two senior students at Greenville High School recently signed letters of intent to continue their cheerleading careers at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.

Tessa Cantrill and Marissa Maples have been awarded scholarships to be members of the Lindenwood competitive cheerleading squad.
Lauren Brewer, coach of the GHS cheerleading squad, is excited about the girls’ success.

Tessa Cantrill is the daughter of Todd and Melissa Cantrill and Marissa Maples is the daughter of Kristi Maples and David Maples. Both were cheerleaders at GHS for four years.

The Lindenwood cheerleading team recently captured a national title at the NCA – NDA collegiate cheer and dance championships in the Division II large co-ed division.
